Volunteers

The Colchester Causeway Race is a new annual race in Colchester, started in June 2013 in conjunction with the Town of Colchester's 250th Charter Day celebration. The Causeway Race is unique in many ways, including the option of running a 5K or a 15K course, and in that participants will get to experience one of Colchester's most treasured parks, the Causeway Path.

15K runners will traverse the entire length of the 10-foot wide path out onto Lake Champlain and back to Airport Park. Volunteers are needed primarily to help with registration, check-in, timing, and course guidance, with a couple specialized positions as well. All Causeway Race volunteers will receive a t-shirt as well.
