    The task of the Colchester Governance Committee is to research, support and advocate actions that advance the governance goals defined by the community-led Heritage Project.

    The library trustees work with the director to determine policy while also hiring and providing oversight of the director.

  12. Planning Commission

    The Colchester Planning Commission is charged with overseeing revisions to the Zoning Regulations, undertaking planning studies, and updating the Town Plan.

    Members advise the director of the Parks and Recreation Department in the development and management of recreational facilities and programs to serve the citizens of Colchester.
