​VT Primary Election, Special Runoff Election, September 10, 2018

The VT Superior Court has made a ruling on the recount of the August 14, 2018 Primary Election for the office of State Representative for the Chittenden 9-2 District and subsequently ordered a Runoff Election. This is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2018 from 7 am to 7 pm at the Bayside Activity Center, 34 Blakely Rd, Colchester, VT  05446.  
Parking is available on either side of the building and the entrance is on the side of the building facing the park and the exit is the door facing West Lakeshore Drive. There are sidewalks from the exit door leading to the parking lots.   
 
All registered voters in the 9-2 district are eligible to vote in this election and same day registration voter rules apply.  Absentee voting will be for a short period of time due to the timeline of the election.   Early or absentee voting will be available at the Town Clerk’s Office as soon as the ballots are received. Requesting absentee ballots to be mailed is available but not recommended based on the Court Ordered timeline. All  ballots need to be received back in the Town Clerk’s Office by  4:30 PM on Friday, September 7  or dropped off at the Bayside Activity Center, the polling location, on Election Day Monday, September 10, 2018.
