The Green Mountain Book Award is Vermont’s state book award for high school students. Each month, we’ll read and review one of the 15 nominees as a potential winner for the year! Teens grades 9-12. Teens in grades 6-8 are welcome to come with parent permission. The GMBA list is intended for high school students and younger teens may have more interest in the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award book club, which meets the first Wednesday of the month. This month, we’re reading Symphony for the City of the Dead by M.T. Anderson.
