  1. Audubon Program: Vermont’s Birds & Our Agricultural Heritage

    January 24, 2018, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Town Meeting House

Meave Kim is a lifelong birder who leads bird walks for beginners and has taught birding classes for outdoors clubs and wildlife refuges. Her presentation will take attendees on a quick tour through the state’s long history of human habitation. She will answer questions: What wildlife was here after the last Ice Age? What different kinds of birds have lived in Vermont? She will talk about changes in the land itself and in how people have used the land, leading to changes in birds and other wildlife. This program, which is sponsored by the Green Mountain Audubon Society, will take place at the Meeting House, located next door to the Library.
