  1. Halloween Dinner & a Movie in the Park

    What better way to enjoy a beautiful summer night than to relax in your favorite Colchester Park and enjoy a movie? Join us on Saturday, October 19 for one of our favorite family-friendly Halloween movies, “Casper”, and bring an appetite as Taco Truck All Stars will be joining us and offering up some delicious Mexican fare! The movie will start at dusk (around 6:30 PM) at Bayside Park (near the pavilion), with food for sale before and during the movie. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and dress for the weather! Casper is a kind young ghost who peacefully haunts a mansion in Maine. When specialist James Harvey (Bill Pullman) arrives to communicate with Casper and his fellow spirits, he brings along his teenage daughter, Kat (Christina Ricci). Casper quickly falls in love with Kat, but their budding relationship is complicated not only by his transparent state, but also by his trouble-making apparition uncles and their mischievous antics. “Casper” is rated PG.
