Communications Specialist

The Colchester Police Department is seeking a collaborative and flexible full-time dispatcher to join its team. Director of Public Works

The Town is seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to be its next Director of Public Works, providing management and oversight of daily operations of upwards of 20 personnel. Through the planning, organization, direction and evaluation of the Public Works Department, this position is directly responsible for Town infrastructure and enterprise utilities, including transportation systems, surface and stormwater conveyance, wastewater collection, buildings, fleet services, and the engineering and project management associated with those systems and activities. Day Camp Counselor (Summer 2024)

The Colchester Parks & Recreation Department is seeking fun, responsible and caring people to join the 2024 Day Camp Team. This position is responsible for leading children in Day Camp experiences. Work with staff to plan and implement experiences for campers that include: arts & crafts, non-competitive games, swimming, nature activities, cooking, sports and group activities. Bayside Beach Lifeguard/Swim Instructor (Summer 2024)

Colchester Parks and Recreation Department is recruiting Lifeguards at Bayside Beach for the summer. Lifeguards will be responsible for the safety of all people using the beach facility. The hours for this position will be based on the beach hours and weather conditions. Lifeguards are also responsible for teaching swimming lessons. The Colchester Parks & Recreation Department is seeking fun, responsible and caring Site Assistants to work in a creative hands-on school-age environment for the A.C.E. After School Program for the 2023-2024 School Year. This is a great opportunity to work with children in a dynamic, supportive, and fun environment. Must be 16 years or older. Stormwater Regional Utility Research Fellowship

The University of Vermont and the Lake Champlain Sea Grant is partnering with Colchester, along with 5 other Vermont MS4 communities, and is seeking applicants for a research fellowship to help identify benefits and drawbacks to communities that operate regionally to implement Municipal Separate Stormwater Sewer System (MS4) Permit minimum measures that relate to discharge of stormwater to public waters.
