Civil Marriage Application Form
To apply for a marriage license, complete the application below and bring to the Clerk's office Monday-Friday 8-4:30.
The application is not your marriage license. The application will be used by the Clerk to issue your license. Once issued, you have 60 days to get married in Vermont.
Fee: $80; cash, checks and credit/debit cards are accepted.

Justices of the Peace
The person who marries you must be legally authorized to perform a ceremony in Vermont. Those who are legally authorized to officiate a wedding include Justices of the Peace, Judges, a one-time temporary officiant registered with the Vermont Secretary of State or member of the clergy who resides in Vermont.
