January 5, 2021: ELMS Log-in Information Updated
To ensure secure access to our online records, the Town of Colchester has updated the log-in information to access the Town's online permitting software, Edgesoft (ELMS). To obtain the new log-in information, please call (802)-264-5606.
The Town of Colchester Planning and Zoning Department is in the process of scanning all of its land record files and permits. All files have now been digitized and linked into the Town's permitting software:
The user name is public. Please call the Planning and Zoning Department at (802) 264-5606 for the password. A guide to the system can be found below. In ELMS, permits and records prior to 2015 will show up under attachments labeled as "archive1900.pdf". These pdf documents are similar to what you would find in a paper file: information on all permits is in chronological order with the newest information first. There are often multiple archive pdfs that are labeled as 1, 2,or 3 as Development Review Board files are often separate. Please review all files.
