Special Note
All players are required to have a USA Lacrosse Membership, or else they will not be allowed to play! This needs to be renewed annually. Please log onto the USA Lacrosse website to register.
A USA Lacrosse membership is an additional $35, paid directly to USA Lacrosse. You will need to send your child's membership number to the Parks and Recreation Department as proof of membership. Contact the Department at 802-264-5640 or email it to our office.
Equipment
Players are required to provide their own equipment, which includes stick and protective gear. NOCSE Approved Boys protective gear: gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, and helmet. Girls protective gear: goggles. All players must have a properly fitting mouth guard.
Outdoor Practices
Outdoor practices typically begin after April Break. All teams will practice at the Bayside Lacrosse Field. Some teams will also travel for scrimmages during the week.
Game & Jamboree Schedules

Younger Years Options
Is your Kindergartner, First Grader, or Second Grader interested in learning the sport of Lacrosse? Participants can order an individual lacrosse kit for an extra $55. This will include: 1 lacrosse manual, 1 lacrosse stick, 1 lacrosse ball & 4 disc cones. If you would like to volunteer to help coach this program, please contact Jared at jantoniak@colchestervt.gov.
Volunteers
Please consider volunteering to help us provide an enriching athletic experience to the youth of Colchester. All coaches will receive appropriate training on the game of lacrosse, techniques, and managing and interacting with a team of youth athletes. Parks & Recreation runs background checks on all of their coaches prior to the start of the season; additional paperwork will be required.
