Colchester has many diverse land uses and an abundance of natural resources. Situated on the eastern shores of Lake Champlain, with a population of over 17,000, Colchester is the 3rd largest community in Vermont.
The Colchester Public Works Department provides a variety of public services to the community. Our primary responsibilities include the planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of the community's infrastructure.
