Department Reduced Services
Colchester’s Burnham Memorial Library is temporarily operating with reduced staff and other resources due to COVID-19, resulting in the reduction or suspension of some Town services. This is necessary due to the impact of Federal and State COVID-19 related work rules on service delivery, higher Town expenses related to COVID-19, and reductions in Town fee revenues due to the evolving public health emergency and related economic and regulatory climate. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.

SERVICES:
Curbside Delivery Service: The library now offers curbside pickup of library materials on Saturdays from 10am-12pm, Tuesdays from 1-4pm and Thursdays 3-6pm. For additional information, please go to: https://colchestervt.gov/3244/Curbside
Changed: Newly expanded digital collection and links to many free resources, Temporary Access Digital Library Cards are available online for quick access, Read-alouds and storytimes for children shared via social media, voicemail, and LCATV. We also have online events for children, teens, and adults. The most up-to-date listing of all events is on our calendar.
Reduced: Wi-fi, now available via Parking Lot 24/7, Staff available by phone and email Monday thru Friday 10-6 and Saturday 10-1, Loaned materials available via advance request at curbside Saturdays from 10am-12pm, Tuesdays from 1-4pm and Thursdays 3-6pm.
Suspended: Use of Meeting Space, Computer, Printer, Fax Access, In-House Programming, and Adult Outreach Services
