  1. Meeting House: Grand Opening

    April 28, 2019, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Ask at Front Desk

Join us to celebrate the grand opening of the newly renovated lower level of the Meeting House. The renovations were possible because of a generous bequest to the Friends of the Burnham Library by the late Sarah Crocker of Colchester, who passed away in 2015 and named the Friends as a beneficiary of her estate. The open floor plan, improvements to the kitchen, and additional seating give the library flexibility to increase capacity in our most popular programs and expand the variety of our offerings. Like all of our meeting rooms, this space is available for use by community members. We invite you to celebrate the completed renovation, share our appreciation for Ms. Crocker's bequest, and learn about the variety of programs we offer at the library. Refreshments will be served.
